I’ve just popped onto LinkedIn after my extra long Christmas break and discovered that they have added some new functionality to Groups.  They’ve added the ability to create Polls which could be a handy little way to gather almost instant feedback about things we are interested in from amongst the people that are most likely to have the right sort of background and knowledge to share it with.It will be interesting to see if it competes with the usual Polls application on LinkedIn in both functionality and usage as at first glance it doesn’t seem to provide the feedback in terms of statistical information that you get with the normal Polls application.  I shall report further when I get a few more responses to the test Poll I added to a group I belong to.
